Born and raised in Fresno, and a former member of the Good Company Players, Alicia is now an opera star based in Austria and touring all across Europe.

This coloratura soprano's musical calling card is the Queen of the Night in Mozart's The Magic Flute. She has sung this role over 200 times at venues including the Theater an der Wien, the St. Margarethen Opera Festival, Salzburg, and others.

Opera critics are enthusiastic, e.g. "Alicia O'Neill sang the coloratura in the demanding aria of the Queen of the Night with clarity and bravura."

For her "homecoming" show with Terry and Matthew at Roger Rocka's, Alicia is planning some of the music she is performing now in Europe, with musical highlights from shows she has sung in the past with GCP in Fresno, like Carousel, Secret Garden, Hello Dolly and Fiddler on the Roof. She'll add great hits from other musicals like Phantom of the Opera and songs like Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

Alicia was born and raised in Fresno California. She received her Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance in 2003 from the University of Redlands. In June of 2008 Alicia finished her Masters in Opera Performance with honors from the Conservatory of Music in Vienna, Austria.

In September 2009 Alicia sang her first productions with Oper im Berg. They included die Zauberfloete where she sang Queen of the night and also Alicia had the honor to perform as the “young Queen of the night, Atosse” in the world premiere of the Opera Der Sonnenkreis composed by Jeepe Noergaard Jacobsen and Directed by Barbara Bonney. Since that first season she has become a resident Artists for Oper im Berg singing Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia and two more productions of Die Zauberfloete and appearing in all Opera Galas. With this company she has had the pleasure of performing in Salzburg, Tirol and southern Germany.

Upcoming for Alicia is her first production with Opera Classica singing Queen of the night in die Zauberfloete. In October she will be singing with a Taiwanese Orchestra in the Musikverein Vienna and she will also be on the road again with Opera in Berg touring an “Evening of Opera” in Germany. In the spring Alicia will be making the first professional recording of “Der Sonnenkreis” in Stuttgart. And this summer she is looking forward to sing her first Gilda from Verdi's Rigoletto with Opera im Berg.
